VIEW IN MY ROOM
There is a small retention pond near where I live which often attracts ducks to the area. One day I walked down to the end of my street and saw these two barricades blocking some large deep holes so nobody would fall in. Then I spotted the ducks and knew this would be the subject of my next painting. This artwork measures 30 x 40 x 1.5 inches, is unframed, has painted edges and is ready to hang on the wall with all the needed hardware attached. Barricades and Ducks was awarded First Place in Acrylic Painting by the Bay Area Art Exhibit 2023.

My works are vibrant acrylic paintings on stretched canvas, lightheartedly communicating how I see the world. Currently I am working on a large series of landscapes, ranging from urban to suburban and rural. Inspired by life itself, my intention is to intrigue and amuse my audience while they smile at colorful images. After all, people must disengage themselves from a stressful day to day existence and I would like to think my work provides that escape at least for a moment or two.
