About The Artwork

Covis 19 and prejudges, When some people put the blame of COVİD 19 tragedy on bats! The painting of a ‘’Bat in Court’’ shows a trial taking place in the past centuries. There are various type of characters in this painting. A bat that has no idea what she is being on trial for, so, instinctively she takes a defensive mode on. The ones who are wooden and live like ordinary human, like the one who hangs a fishing rod with a bee as bait on the tip, from the balcony; it seems a childish mischief!, the other wooden one sitting on the court judge table, holding judge hammer ‘’ to point out that not everyone has the authority to judge’’, while the guard is gazing at him to warn. The stream who attend there , among them you see Mary Ann Bevan(whose face turned to a beast following a viral illness and she had to spend the rest of her life working in the circus.), a Plague doctor(to remind that human beings have been exposed to a variety of viral and microbial diseases throughout history.), rich and poor people, strange guys who wear blue hooded cape time travelers maybe; one of them has a cell phone in the hand, Chinese Master of Martial Arts, people with fish tank and plant heads, the one with a naked brain; even a wiry person on the corner, a dolphin in between(related to Venice’s canal water during pandemic), all of people there have the ability to move on the water made floor, the astonished and wise looks on the faces, a meaningful grin on prosecutor’s face; thinking of this situation, an inverse bat in the middle carries the scales of justice, all recaps that how human negligence leads to such status!

Born and raised in Iran. Graduated in software programming. Whole her life Art has been seen in every part of the where she has been. She believes painting as one of the very rich silent way to communicate. Her passion for art , in spite of dealing with software and hardware, and also teaching at her own vocational high school in homeland, led her to start painting as a self-taught painter after leaving the country. Being a sensitive one who has a very strong spirituality look to life with a real attitude, helps her to see the suppressed abilities that are hidden in the angles of people lives; the deprived ones who do not have even the decision-making power because of being a victim of politics, financial or cultural poverty, the whom that are forced to marry in their teens and…..So this is ”Art” that can be a strong medium to reflect all those. Amalgamating of art and truth in a surrealistic form, to bring a deep reality out of the pristine imaginary situation which is being seen in the surface of the painting, where contradictions and paradoxes are heading off the point of views to other aspect of life actuality; seemingly moving away from reality to reach the truth, is all she does.
