About The Artwork
I frequently walk by this river and enjoy the subtle colors of the water and the bank and the distant shore. I find it very calming and sometimes I sit on a bench facing this scene and daydream. I used a palette knife for the smooth strokes of paint and oil paint for the varied hues. I hope the sense of peace can be felt by the viewer. The piece is wired and ready to hang as is, or can be framed by a new owner.
