About The Artwork
This artwork is all about symbolism and it was inspired by artist Max Ernst, a German painter, sculptor, graphic artist, poet and a primary pioneer of the Dada movement and surrealism. His paintings became increasingly rich in color and more detailed using runny paint over the canvas, then with a sheet of glass layered on top, creating surrealist, dreamlike shapes. Surreal symbolism is a characteristic of my artistic form. A way to stimulate the flow of the imagery from the unconscious mind. This style gives me an immense rain of fresh freedom! Let me tell you the 4 symbolic elements in my painting: 1. The visualization of a dark night, with the shadows and profundity in color.

Hi, I am Marina Solé, Mixed media artist. I am from Barcelona living in San Francisco since 2011. What started as a small series of tiny "collages" has evolved into a personal collection of art pieces which I store all around the house like an intimate petit museum to inspire my daily life, in my evolving art process journey.
