About The Artwork
In this painting my art is imagined. This is one of a series with a narrative akin to fairytales, myths, and youth. In one sense all art is autobiographical and this piece reflects a bit of my life experience. That said I want the viewer to bring their own narrative into the picture.

Schwartz’s paintings combine her ideas with an informed artist’ practice and the end result is uniquely her own. She is nationally recognized for her paintings and works on paper. The Mill Pond Gallery, Long Island, Prince Street Gallery, NYC, Sylvia Wald & Po Kim Gallery, New York City, National Association of Women Artists, Inc. NYC, Armory Art Exhibition, Florida, the Cornell Museum of American Art and Culture, Johnson & Johnson headquarters Gallery, New Jersey, and Thos. Moser Gallery, Boston are just a few of the galleries that have exhibited Lully's art. Ms. Schwartz has had 16 solo art exhibitions. Lully is a graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Mount Ida College. Lully served as vice president (2013-15) on the board of the National Association of Women Artists, NY (MA Chapter).
