About The Artwork

New mini series of quick paintings on torn out Champagne Box bits. This is the fifth one. Hand painted on torn out panels from Champagne boxes. Here you have Ruinart 1729 Brut Magnum and a playful approach. The cardboard piece can be mounted and then placed into a shadowbox frame if wanted. Tears and rips are intentional and part of the edgy look... You could put it behind glass. Painting is varnished, tagged "DE" in the front and signed on the back and comes with a hand written thank you note. Enjoy

"Art has been my passion all my life - abstract art with a twist is how I like to express myself. Painting for me is meditation through repetition. Form is everything - until you step back and see my paintings from further away..." Art Idols are Yayoi Kusama, Mark Rothko, Gerhard Richter, Damien Hirst, Roy Liechtenstein and Wayne Thiebaud. Quoting Paul Klee: "A line is a dot that went for a walk"... Works in public and private collections , among others in USA, South Africa, Singapore, Canada, Australia, India, United Kingdom, France and more
