This painting is an Expressionist Painting. It is executed with heavy Impasto oils technique. I used a range of warm brilliant colors; reds, oranges, yellows. And their brilliant complimentary colors near one another. The painting depicts masses of people, heavy crowd. Texture comes in with daubs of paints. The textures are unique and effectual. The Painting is breathing. It has a strong physical presence. There is spontaneity, freedom and magic. These create an illusion of magic which also creates an illusion of details. The strokes are placed using palette knives with freedom, like delving into abstraction. They are filled with surprises and accidentals.
