TRISH HEND BIOGRAPHY Born in 1940 in Sydney, Australia. Studied art with a private teacher, then at TAFE. Trish has won many art awards, such as the Tooheys Paint a Pub, Bowral Art prize ,Sutherland Art Award, Southern Cross Art Award, etc. and has had one woman and shared exhibitions around Australia. These have included The Beverley Hills Gallery, Von Doorf Gallery, Castle Hill Gallery, Sylvania Gallery, Captain Cook Gallery,Guild of Realist Artists. Her paintings are in business and private collections in the U.S.A., Japan, Canada,France, U.K. China and Australia. Purchasers include Christopher Lee, AMP Society, Total Oil Company,Neville Wran, H.R.H Princess Ira Von Furstenberg of Austria et al. Trish was selected as an exhibiting artist at Westfield Centres,and has been featured in Newspapers, and magazines, including the front page of The Saint George and Sutherland Shire Leader. Had her own Art instruction classes, taught in many venues and schools throughout Australia. Trish has taught on many cruise liners, including the Oriana, Bellarussya, Mikhail Sholokov,Norwegian Star and Royal Caribbean. Trish is listed in the Whos Who of Australian Visual Artists, Artists and Galleries of Australia, and the Australian Art Index. She works in all mediums, and her work features landscape, figurative, wildlife, and nostalgia. Her works are sold through Galleries in Australia and overseas.
