Dorothy Preston was a painter whose work was always a visual treat and has been represented in public and private collections throughout the world, including the Corcoran Gallery, the Milwaukee Museum of Art, Women in the Arts, the Franz Bader Gallery, the Adams Davidson Gallery, among others. This work, entitled "Crocodiles with Ulu" was inspired by her travels to Australia. Other paintings in her Australian collection have been displayed in the Australian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
