Well I am supposed to write what I hope you will feel, when you see my painting... joy of life, joie de vivre, Lebensfreude! That's what I feel painting in my garden, feeling the sun on my skin, listening to the birds singing. Even in hard times like now, the sun is still shining and the birds are singing songs of better days.... I am always using best Swiss colors and best papers and cardboards. Besides my job as a dentist my heart always belonged to art. I painted every free minute, I wanted to capture the music of the waves, the fire of the setting sun and the hymn of the wind in my paintings. Inspired by visits of museums all over Europe my art got influenced by 'Informal Art'. My role models are Emil Schumacher, Anselm Kiefer, Jean Dubuffet, Alberto Burri and last but not least I was impressed deeply by Jackson Pollock and Franz Kline. With my paintings I want to express a passionated joy about the beauty of life, the beauty of art and the beauty of the world. And I would like to draw peoples' attention on current topics and issues. I want to make aware of the problems of our time as environmental destruction.
