The blooming daffodils in my garden this spring inspired me to try and capture their innocence in paint. I use a palette knife and oil paint to achieve the depth of color and individual strokes for the immediacy of the impression. Perhaps it will lead the viewer to buy some bulbs and grow their own delightful daffodils next spring1
