There are many and perhaps not many 'reasons' why we formed this collective, in the hustle and bustle of this over-produced contemporary art world, of course there will be more and more diverse patterns played by the artists in creating their artworks. Seeing the development of technology that has a direct impact on artists for their creative process, of course, each individual artist or even a group will behave differently, where the impression of being an artist is easy and fast, quoting Warhol's statement 'becoming an artist who will be famous in 15 minutes, the impact of technology, but will be quickly crushed by the renewable. The world of art in Indonesia is also experiencing a very significant developmental euphoria, Indonesian art is like blood that clots into pus and then bursts, spilling out in all directions. The kelas bebas Collective is part of the spilled blood clot, like other art groups 'trying to keep the spirit' in order to continue to live in this fast-paced era, fighting for what needs to be fought for. The kelas bebas Collective was born in the midst of a fast-paced era, which is no longer difficult to explore information as the intellectual property of today's artists. The kelas bebas is driven by the Pure Arts residents of ISI Yogyakarta which is `as a non-mandatory condition`, it is also possible for anyone who has the passion to study together, work together, work together to be involved in the kelas bebas Collective. The collective focus that we formed on May 21, 2019 is in the field of art, with various art work activities such as art exhibitions, discussions about the development of fine arts. The kelas bebas collective is also the spirit of this fast-paced era, in our opinion, to maintain sanity as an artist is to network, exchange ideas and do art work activities together.
