About The Artwork
The concept for this picture was conceived during frequent poker games with my friends. I also used the illustration 'Dogs Playing Poker' by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge as a reference. If you look closely, the winning donkey had 5 and 2 - arguably one of the worst pocket card combinations. However, due to his 'donk bet,' he eventually gained the upper hand.
