About The Artwork
The painting is out of my conveyor belt of ideas. I'm not particularly fond of landscape images and painting in nature. But here came the inspiration to convey through the canvas my sense of lightness and impulse, plans and dreams of the future. At the time of writing this picture I was not working and was completely surrendered to his creativity and flight of fancy. This can be well felt in the picture. The mountains are enveloped in fog, and no one knows what revelations are hidden in it, maybe the ascent to that peak, or maybe the precipice into the unknown or into a consuming body of water and there the path straight to the bottom. A very familiar notion of uncertainty and fear of the future, fear outside the window and the threshold of your world, which is already familiar, and beyond its boundaries lurks something that is hard to know. Vecordia (Latin for madness, insanity, recklessness). That's how you can characterize my work. I am a professional artist, but my works cannot be attributed to a particular style, they are so authentic that they in themselves open up a new style. For me emotion is important in pictures, so some of them may be eccentric, but that's what makes them interesting. I call my artistic style - alternative (It's all together... Abstraction, surrealism, graphics, painting, avant-garde, etc.). Many artists acquire their skills over the course of a lifetime, I have been painting since I was very conscious and still am. I started with small sketches, conducted master classes and taught my skills. At the same time I was working as a manager in a company. The day-to-day work was killing me and my ability to create beauty. So I took an important step - I quit my job and started creating paintings. All my feelings, emotions, concerns about my life, about the situation in the country are reflected on my canvases. There is a lot of fear, but also a lot of faith in the miracle that is all around us...
