About The Artwork
Apart from a little sunburn, nothing could possibly put a damper on her spring break in paradise! I love using ironic and humorous themes in my work, along with full sentence titles to highlight the playfulness of my paintings. Adding elements that the viewers are aware of, but the subject is not is a fun way to bring the observer into the story. I use a flat style with bold colors and outlines to highlight the lightheartedness that is always present in my work. This piece's edge is painted red. Hanging hardware is installed.
