This painting is a quote of the work of Claude Vignon "Esther before Ahasuerus" Vignon is a painter of the seventeenth century, Baroque and considered part of his painting illustrates the Old Testament story of Esther the Jewess who appeared to plead for her people before King Ahasuerus, risking their disapproval. In Jewish tradition is seen as an instrument of God's will to prevent the destruction of the Jewish people, to protect and ensure peace during the exile. Use the Hebrews permanently logical mechanisms: if God loves the righteous, the just shall finally triumph over the wicked, What is used as a metaphor in my work on the problems of easel painting and his imminent death, according to some theorists. The event was a concept and a key to think my relationship with the arrogance of the "classics" and its pre-existing management exercise. In painting only residues from a classic painting, ie only resisitió part of the composition, making it a kind of body without rhetoric, a pictorial object with symbolic meaning, but completely out of context with insignificant frames in this were used. The painting is on a gray surface (a fabric produced industrially and cost) in order to stage a overall balance, harmony lifeless only possibility of "color" as Cézanne. Gray also is burning between the two points on which the full range of colors is based: white and black, which can eliminate iconicity in painting, to achieve a greater focus on the media used.

I was born in Chile, a place where equality is far from being achieved more than any other region in the world. Under this condition I worked on concepts such as segregation and overcrowding, I feel very representative of my country. So, my works translate my political, social and aesthetic concerns, often from the person's relationship with the landscape and the limits proposed capital between them. From childhood I had interest in painting, figuration was an early obsession, tracing cartoon was a constant practice. With a little more experience, I dared to bring my drawings to another level, then, at age 12 was my first mural, inspired by the death of dictator Augusto Pinochet. From there my artistic aspirations were growing and my work evolve both technically and fundamentally. 2012 I decided to study Visual Arts at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where he also received an academic degree in History and Theory of Art and Aesthetics academic certificate in Film.
