About The Artwork
Inspired by my mom's love of roses and their vibrancy, "Field of rose" is an explosion of oil colors, shadowed by silhouettes of several roses. An eye catching statement piece, designed to be a food for thought. The slight ridge of painted roses, though not thick enough to be impasto, give a beautiful texture to the painting. The canvas is stretched and stapled at the back on a wooden frame, making it easy to hang.
