About The Artwork
Fearrington Village, in North Carolina, is known for its herd of Belted Galloway cattle. These distinctive animals, sometimes called oreo cows, are black with a white belt around their middle. In this painting I illustrated the notion that all animals at Fearrington must wear a white belt in order to fit in.
