About The Artwork

This painting shows a young man practicing with his skateboard. Pereboom was inspired in the making of this painting by the complex movements and the control the skateboarder must have over his body. The subculture, the soloist, the own style and the feeling of freedom contribute to this streetsport. Pereboom painted this one with acrylic. The main color is blue, green and a bright sky with blue and white. She choose the form of the roman bridge as a good combination with the speed and the movement of freestyle skating. Painted on a stretched linen canvas, Also painted on the sides and ready to hang.
