From the flowers that bloomed in April From the freshly sprouted greens on the trail in the mountains in May A very, very long time ago, I smell the scent of the very first garden. Maybe even then, the colorful flowers are so pretty The fresh air must have been very refreshing~ Stop it now! Without the harsh sorrows of the world Open our chests wide and breathe fresh, quietly and peacefully I want each of us to live our own lives and be happy. As always this spring Yellow dandelions blooming everywhere are so lovely. Oh dandelion! that wonder Making my painting garden with free brush strokes I miss the old garden. Garden a22 Series - This year, I am drawing flowers and nature with the hope that the scenery of mountains and fields will still be beautiful. Now, the severe ordeal of Covid-19 seems to be coming to an end. But on the other side of the world, a horrendous war is once again weighing on the heart. When will we be able to dream of true peace and rest? Can we create a world where there is no disease, no war, no selfishness and no greed, but a world where we love and care for each other? I dream of a world where everyday life is peaceful and safe, where nature and humans coexist harmoniously and we can all enjoy the beautiful nature to our heart's content. I am grateful for the day when the wild flowers blooming randomly in the mountains are peaceful and the refreshing breeze between the forests comes like a gift.

I was born April 14, 1962 in Wonju,Korea. I grew up in Jeonju and graduated from Jeonju Girls High School in 1981. I studied at Ewha Womans University in Seoul and majored in computer science. But I had been making porcelain crafts and copper plate crafts as a hobby and in 2009 began painting. I had 7 solo exhibitions and many group exhibitions. I have been working on the painting continuously. I express what I want to say through pictures. My painting is a kind of language that expresses what I want to say in visible objects. At the beginning of the painting, I tried to express the structural attractiveness and the stimulation of the color, the form, and so on, focusing on an object and observing it. I had drawn post-impressionist and expressive paintings that generally express intensely with intense colors, rough touches, and thick textures. These days, works are attempting to take abstract expressionism. I speak through the painting in the picture of nature, city, house, things, people, and sometimes an informal form by using colors, lines, and actions. There are thoughts about Existence, all sorts of human emotions, feelings such as compassion, plea, justice, completeness, thanks and happiness etc. Painting language is different from the common language. So it is necessary to find clues of the interpretation in the medium or transmission method used in the picture.
