About The Artwork
Inspiration for the painting Her garden is my daughter. I longed to return to the portrait, to change the theme, the palette, and the portrait of my daughter allowed me to do that. I tried to achieve her playfulness and cheerfulness. I was longing for a painting that soothes and brings me back to childhood. I wanted to paint in acrylic, even though it seems to me to be a more difficult technique than oil because it dries quickly and the shades on the skin are not so easy to make.
