At present, more than ever, the problem of ecological catastrophe is acute, the pandemic is wiping out millions of people around the world, and the actions of irresponsible politicians have put the world on the brink of a third and final world war. All these circumstances forced the author to take up the brush. The work was written in Kharkov, Ukraine, where the real fighting took place. Thousands of people left their homes in panic. The rest are in extreme conditions. In fact, they are doomed to fight for survival. Explosions are heard day and night. The sky was covered with black smoke from fires. At night, the sky lights up with flashes from ammunition explosions. Shops and pharmacies are closed. Chaos and destruction all around. No one even thought of this two weeks ago. And now a person's life is not worth a penny. This is what the author wanted to express with his painting. He hopes to warn people of other countries against frivolity and indifference, ignoring dangerous challenges in society. The picture is painted on Italian canvas with oil. Applied vintage technique (artificial aging).
