About The Artwork

I'm always looking for interesting surfaces en subjects. A upcoming exposition in a castle inspired me for this painting. She wants to be the queen of the castle. I hope the viewers like the shiny skin in combination of the glare in the crown and the contrast of light and dark in the painting. She dreams a desire that never will come true.

Born in Deventer (Holland) and raised in Arnhem, a place in the centre of Holland. After my studies, I worked for several advertising agencies as an art director. In 1990 I took the next step and started my own agency. To create more time for my passion of painting I sold my agency in 2014.
