About The Artwork
This work refers to a time gone by when people lived in sod huts or buried their living spaces in the ground. My Irish roots are deeply connected to both home and soil. I used cracked plaster to signify the passing of time and the disappearance of the dwellers even though nature goes on thriving, green and lush.
