I am born and brought up in a lower-middle-class family in West Bengal, India. I did my schooling from Alipurduar High School in West Bengal. I have been a student in the arts stream. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in the subject of Philosophy from North Bengal University & a Master degree from CSJM University. I also studied Computer-related topics and I have a Master's degree in Computer Application (MCA). Painting turned out to be a sphere of my emotional restoration since my childhood. It opens up and avenue to a world of creative urge and untiring exploration. It’s indeed a voyage through colures- colors of outside blending into the colors inside. I’m very much passionate about it. So, besides my traditional learning in school and college, I also gave time to painting. I keep practicing in quest of perfection and new discoveries in the field of pointing. Some persons who guide me specially, my GURU- Sri Rabiswar Das, Sri Bijoy Gupta, Sri Raghunath Sahoo & my friends. I wanted to study Fine Art after school. But I live in an underdeveloped area, rural India. So there was no opportunity for studying Fine Art near me. Financial problem posed to be another deterrent that kept me away from what I dreamt of. I couldn’t go outside for a better opportunity. So I don’t have any degree of Fine Art. But nothing on earth could stop me from practicing and realizing my dream. I feel watercolor has become a language of my soul at present. So wherever I go, I try to carry my accessories for Painting. I love to draw Landscapes and do Creative works. Previously my comfort zone was realistic oil painting but in recent years my taste took a turn towards acrylic and watercolor. I feel now watercolor is a weapon for me. That’s all about me. I’ll be very grateful to you if I get the opportunity. This will give me confidence and a platform to grow in the field of painting. Painting paves the way for me to look beyond and discover the layers of life in all its shades… the more I worked the more I learned, this learning will go on making my life a bit more meaningful.
