Chira recognizes her interpretation of forms and pigments as a primitive process. In her pieces there is an evolution of elements, a buoyant of secrets and fire which is hold in the hi-temperature ceramic. The deeply experimental chemistry of glazes brings together the language of actual transitory époques and the prehistoric sign. She uses azulejos, tiles, in order to bring on the surface the interior invisibilities. The combination of Chira’s Italian origin, the tradition of the great masters in the central Italy, the colours and openings of Portuguese-Mourish culture is in her ancestral language dialoguing with the contemporary shapes. The artist narrates the passage of time in large scale until arriving to count hours and minutes and seconds, she writes the path from memory to imagination.
