Throughout the summer months I visit the Chicago Botanic Garden sketching and photographing a variety of geometric compositions. Back in the studio the goal is to solidify the composition and add possibilities for meditating. Mute subjects such as still lives and deserted landscapes give greater freedom to personal thoughts.
