The painting shows a poor, rural household, which we see from the perspective of a child. His parents run a funeral home there. In an empty room we see only a cat and a tub of water. In the distance we see mourners marching. The inspiration for the painting was provided by the work of Zbylut Grzywacz entitled "The Queue Still Goes On" and the story of a man whose parents ran a funeral home. The painting evokes different feelings in each of us through its mysterious face. The void in the room can illustrate grief, the taste of irretrievable loss, and the emptiness that comes after death that we are unable to fill. It also shows the feelings of a person who needs attention, acceptance or conversation. It is the vision of a man who is lonely, although he sees people in front of him. The uniform color scheme of the painting is mainly of blue, which sometimes changes to blue, navy blue or sea green. White completes the color of the painting. Despite the heavy message of the painting, its colors are harmonious and calm, which makes it perfect for bedrooms or living rooms.

My name is Jakub Bujak. I am a young, ambitious and positive artist. I am characterised by a unique style, individualism and above all by a high bar I set for myself. The world, nature and culture are for me a treasure trove of raw materials that I acquire, process and finally use for my own purposes. Feelings, emotions, imagination, intellect. My creative process is not supported by anything in particular. Probably by my subjective perspective, because that has always been with me. My creativity, supported by a unique perspective and powers of observation. For as long as I can remember I have been involved with visual art, it has been an inseparable part of my life and way of thinking. In this way I explore thoughts, feelings, imagination. With this form of expression I speak, shout and whisper. I like to say that I am a man of images, but above all of words. Broadly defined art is not an end in itself. I want to convey the greatest possible style, value and emotions. I do not know exactly how to define that in a sentence, but I certainly know how to portray it with a picture. For me, it's a natural form of expression. Complementary to my ego. I draw inspiration from stimuli, from what I pay attention to. Smell, taste, touch, sight, hearing, intuition. My paintings are eclectic. They vary depending on the project, theme and style I am exploring. "Image - Costume - Space" - The main idea is to represent sadness, loneliness, suffering and alienation in the environment of existence. To highlight the feeling that accompanies the life of a person in situations where he is on his own. The confrontation with the reality with which he is confronted. With a situation to which he has become accustomed, but in which he feels that something is wrong.
