I’m a London based artist who has worked as a digital product designer for eight years and have recently transitioned into becoming a full time artist. I create paintings that are inspired by nature and the outdoors. It’s important to me that I get across my own personal relationship with a particular environment and the atmosphere that a space provides. This can vary from creating compositions that reflect calm and quiet solitude to portraying a sense of the overwhelming vastness that natural surroundings can elicit. Working with oil on canvas or paper, I apply layers of colour with a degree of experimentation as I go, ensuring there is the right balance in colour and tone to reflect the necessary mood and atmosphere of the piece.
