My paintings tell the story of myself. My works are fossilized memories of my past. Those are in my big front yard where I used to play all day long, wide beach of the West Sea and its horizon. There are many animals that I enjoyed observing; cows, birds, turtles, fishes and so on. However, the materials that I used should considered neither as the way it looks to our ordinary eyes nor mere material from the nature. I wanted them to represent my view about this world and tell to embrace our own lives with strong affection. I enjoy painting owls because of the image engraved in my mind. I saw them in a dark forest when I was very young. It was scary but also gave me misteriously favorable impression. frame is not necessary. ready to hang.
