About The Artwork
Seitani beach is hard to get to on Samos island. The weather has to be right, the wind not blowing too much, and you have to find a way to get there, either by boat, or try and make it by foot (needs over an hour walking). This place is so secluded and beautiful however, that it's worth the experience. I managed to get there and took my sketchbook with me to do some quick watercolours, and also took photos. Later in the studio, I created this work. It's a little bit of paradise on earth! My aim was to capture the colours and impression of this beautiful place. I hope that it brings some calm and happiness to the viewer.
