Experience the beauty of Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia with this stunning watercolor painting of the charming fishing huts. The blue and red boat houses make a lovely contrast against the craggy coastlines that face the distant mountains. The fishing boats in the cove add a touch of authenticity to this picturesque scene. This painting is perfect for those who appreciate the simple and peaceful life in a fishing village. Add it to your collection today and be transported to the tranquility of Peggy's Cove. This is my first painting of Peggy's Cove Painting Size: 10x14 unframed One of a kind artwork Watercolor on 100 percent cotton paper. I am Paula Bridges, born and raised in Texas. My favorite thing to do is to combine my art with travel. Having worked in the airline industry since 1986, I have been able to combine these two passions. Although I do plein air painting, my main practice is to take photos and bring them back to my studio where I bury myself in watercolor. My love for watercolor has grown out of the challenge it presents. Water and pigment flow in a semi uncontrolled way and I enjoy creating a painting from this process using bold bright colors with different levels of value. I do like to paint animals; however, landscapes are my love with a never ending supply of subjects from all over the world. After I complete a painting, I always send it to my 86 year old mother to critique. She was my first inspiration to paint being an artist herself.
