About The Artwork
This work is inspired by my pet a parakeet (Eupsittula canicularis) that came disoriented to my garden after the earthquake in September 2017 in Mexico. After feeding her and putting her to safety for a couple of days, we decided to set her free, only she never wanted to leave for the days following her rescue, we realized that she was a domesticated bird. Now she is part of our family, we greatly appreciate her company and we pamper her as much as necessary to make her life full, we know that they are birds that should be free, however the circumstances occurred in this way. In this piece I decided to integrate it with fungi and roots in its legs since all natural entities have an intrinsic link and it is something recurrent in my work as an artist.The piece is made of 100% Magnani Incisioni cotton paper, it is ready to frame your taste and place it in a unique and special space for you.

I am a plastic artist from Mexico. My work is always an introspection towards what has marked me since childhood, the latent memory of living in a city of overwhelming nature (Cuernavaca), with direct contact with natural beings, friends and accomplices of encounters within a same habitat, where the messages are palpated from a reality parallel. All these connections developed in my house in the childhood located right on the side of a ravine, which gave me the encounter and the language have always been in this relationship man-nature. Drawing is the medium in which I can extend each of the codes on paper and alternative substrates; the paper has been one of the most important materials, developing my work to through various techniques such as the use of ink, dyes Natural, Graphite, Watercolor, Acrylic, Etched, Encaustic and Paper Cut. Currently my work is in a constant evolution rooted in certain inclinations towards my natural environment, metaphysical, the occult and my wild state, which it is plagued with the organic and imaginary context of my beings.
