About The Artwork
my love of flowers was past down to me by my Grandmother, she had huge flower beds,and spent hours working in them.As a child I spent my summers with her , and I learned a lot about growing flowers. I was and still is a quiet peaceful place to be.My mother loved pink lady slippers, and had some planted in a pail,that she moved from home to home with her. That is the inspiration of this painting.
