About The Artwork
This image came from an earlier photo I always wanted to paint it some how. It wasn't until after doing a drawing I could see how to do it. By altering the photos composition, adding more sand on the right enabled balance between the pale towel and the towels shadow. This made the picture more complete. A loosely painted sky added to the atmosphere and drama. The moment when you are about to lie on the beach.
