I painted this piece in London, when I was kind of starting a new life period. I lived in a small room and wanted to face myself. This precise painting style was not characteristic of me, but in that time got my first glasses. Actually, I celebrated my new sharp vision. The formal and conceptual idea of the image was given by the formal match between the folding bathroom mirrors and the winged altars. The duality is often present in my work and the swaying of the interpretations are emphasized here as well, as it is a self-portrait. Judgment is a point of view.
