PORSCHE 917 K Steven McQueen #20 Le Mans Print

The Porsche 917 K was widely used during the Le Mans 24 Hours where it won in 1970 and 1971. The Porsche 917 was a car designed for very high (racing) speeds. The frame, which consisted only of aluminum tubes, weighed only 50 kg. The engine, a 12 cylinder boxer engine, initially had a volume of 4.5 liters and delivered 520 hp. Later, the displacement was increased to 5 liters, and in the 917k the block delivered - with the help of a turbo - even 1400 hp at 7800 rpm. The Porsche had an extremely light body only 1.6 mm thick made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, although some models were also made of magnesium. The driving force behind my artwork is an enduring interest in Cars, sports and luxury goods. During my development as an artist, I created my own style that has developed over the years. Recent works are somewhat freer, although attention to detail is still important to me. Some works fall more under street art, others may fall under pop art. Paint with mixed techniques from oil paint to acrylic. Always on linen canvas. The original canvases are for sale on time and are only made in a very exclusive and low edition of art prints. Al reproductions are limited , personal signed and numbered. Besides working in Formula 1, I also like to capture classic race cars on canvas. The past year I started painting exclusive watches on request. The Rolex brand has often been the subject. I also make commission art on request.
