About The Artwork

In the three versions of Prometheus, the author wants to represent, beyond the classical myth of the Titan that we know, the emblematic figure of the origin of man. In fact he is represented as a man and not as a Titan, also because we don't really know what a Titan looks like. The author asks the question: but why have the Gods placed so much attention on man? What will man ever be? Who is really The Man? The answer he attempted to give lies in the work where he exchanged the image of the Titan with that of the man who receives light (light is a symbol of awakening of conscience) and yet is tied hand and foot to a cross (the cross is a symbol of the deception in which man has been subjected since birth,) but one can glimpse the first movements of tension of the body, such as the arm that stretches the rope of the cross and the leg that raises, acts that make imagine the beginning of an inner awakening.

-I have been painting for over forty years, my teacher was my painter father, from him I learned painting and the love of art. My painting belongs to the Picasso culture; over time the artist accumulates multiple experiences which are inevitably reflected in his art. Art is the register of the entire life of an artist, it is the mirror deformed by images that have accompanied the thoughts and feelings of the man and the artist.
