This painting deals with the feeling of desire. As a bisexual woman artist, I wanted to make a reflexion on love and sex between women, which is a topic that has been represented many times in art history, but more often from male artists (Courbet, Toulouse Lautrec…) than by women themselves. I was not looking for something sexually explicit, otherwise, I wanted to suggest the story that both models were performing. The title is inspired by a song by Placebo and an artwork by Jenny Holzer, and makes reference to the sense of taboo that lesbian and bisexual sex still has in European society. It is painted on a plywood panel 60 x 40 x 0,5 cm (23 x 15 x 0,2 inches). The painting has a black wooden frame, and it is ready to hang. The final dimensions with the frame are 63 x 43 x 2 cm (24,8 x 16,9 x 0,8 inches).
