Once, standing in front of the icons in one temple, I was struck by the beauty of the technique with which their salaries were trimmed. It was metal filigree. How I longed, too, at least marginally, at least someday, to become involved in this beauty! After reviewing the information on this topic, I realized that it had been two years since I started working in this technique, without knowing it myself)) After all, filigree can be different, including acrylic filigree. But I saw only individual small decorative elements created using this technique, and I didn’t come across works like mine. One of the visitors to the exhibition said: "It's like embroidery, only with acrylic." How accurately she expressed what I felt and did! Indeed, creating not just a painted pattern on the surface of paintings and trays, but textured, embossed lace is so great! Such creativity gives great joy. This work was conceived as an element of interior decor. I really like interior decorative painting with potali and other decorative elements. This work of mine, in the manufacture of which I used gold leaf, is made in the technique of "acrylic filigree"; I wanted to make a lace pattern against the background of golden stripes, and I composed it according to inspiration, lying under the birch trees I planted, and looking at their openwork foliage swaying in the wind. Harmonious elegant patterns and the upward direction of red roses symbolize the pursuit of happiness. Live work looks very elegant, life-affirming, even solemn. I will be very happy if it gives you a charge of positive energy and harmony.
