About The Artwork
I began painting during the first lockdown where I live. A woman hovering, holding on, in the foetal position. It was initially titled "Isolation" .This piece was heavily influenced by the chaotic circumstances of 2020. As the painting evolved, the rays of hope began to shine through. An inner calm within the eye of the storm. The message, to me, is to nurture that spark of positivity, and to weather the storm. It will pass.
