About The Artwork
This is a nude that I painted in June. An American model posed for us, a group of artists in Utrecht, the Netherlands. A mirror was placed behind her for obtaining a different angle. After finishing the painting, I realised that it reminds me of the painting-style of Gauguin. What do you think? Maybe I was influenced subconsciously... The painting was painted on first-class Belgian linnen, using the finest quality oil paints. It measures 70 by 90 cm.
