About The Artwork
Not my 1st attempt to watercolor on paper ( absorbent ground on panel or canvas ) but early enough I drew a watercolor pencil line where I thought a good 5x7 border would be. Seeing this small but very nice work live again, after several years, with my blue line round it ( and there's others ), I immediately ordered me a nice roll of blue edging tape 😊 My next and last watercolor posting before shifting gears to present a bit of my imagery of my wife's home state, Vermont, is of one of those above mentioned early watercolors on absorbent ground, on a 5x7 panel. Rowing With the Sun circa 2021 is one of my few pieces with a male figure working rowing himself through a glorious sunrise! I practiced the figure and rowboat several times with watercolor pencils til I got close enough to go live so to speak. The backing behind the 300 lb paper is non-acid as is the clear sleeve. The extra images enclosed give a fuller representation of the 9x6 inch finished painting.

032624 update - My wife and I are blessed to have found a new address here in Austin that'll keep us close to our youngest grandchild as the start of middle school begins later this year in August.
