About The Artwork
To appreciate yourself and know where you are at what stage, place in your life - this is the basis for choosing the right direction of your next action. After my first solo exhibition in Graz, Austria, 2013, upon returning home, I began to paint my portrait in the mirror on the balcony. Then I didn't have a studio yet and I worked from home. My partner forbade me to paint with oils indoors. When the self-portrait was completed, I was amazed at his palette and mood. I was scared, horrified and disappointed. It was the end of those very first and open in trust relationships. ☝
