Series Flower of Life: Tree of Life Print

This painting continues the Flower of Life series. It was created at the time when I used to work as a babysitter for two toddlers whose parents sang at church. Yet, inspiration for it came way earlier, in 2012, when I traveled alone to the Burning Man festival. As I was wandering in the pitch-dark desert somewhere by the edges of the festival’s territory, I stumbled upon a huge metal structure of the Tree of Life, a detailed art piece. I felt a deeper connection with the structural geometric pattern of it, a flower, or a seed, of life. Its profound meaning representing a web of life force that connects all existence together has always fascinated me. Later on I learned that it also represents Archangel Metatron. And so, a few years later I was walking home after work and visions of huge Tree of Life started to appear around me. I came home and painted this in one night right before the Easter. Shortly after, it was sold through the art gallery in Boston.
