About The Artwork

Ready to hang. Discreet black frame/panel. My use of fluorescent orange, the color hunters wear to prevent from getting shot and killed, combined with a complex system of deer antlers - both objects of sexual attraction and weaponry, I imagine what evolution as a means for survival might look like. The medium is found cardboard and has some dented corners as a result which adds to the charm.

"2020 Top 10 Visual Arts" - The Austin Chronicle. Drawing upon my emotional response to current events, and utilizing communication techniques mastered as an advertising copywriter, I explore the duality of self and our attempts to understand our changing world.
