Shades of nature, This oil painting potrays the beauty of magical nature. In my vivid imagination, the black cabin by the cool lake belongs to me. The swaying trees are my friends. Every morning the mountains send their greetings and the breeze blows the fresh scent of flowers. The cold waves and the floating clouds tell me secrets of the sun. I spend everyday staring at them and they stare back at me. This is just how I look at this painting. Everyone can have their own story when gazing at it. This painting was created using a reference photo of a place in Norway. I’ve used many different blues and greens in this painting to make it look this vibrant. Enjoy!

I am Aqdus, I was born in Pakistan and raised in Bahrain. Art was introduced to me by my mom. I was a 4 year old kid, when my mom bought me a water color palette for the first time. I did not know how it worked. I watched her as she turned a white paper into strokes of different colors. Ever since then, I have been spellbound by the magic of painting. Over the years, I have explored my favorite mediums to work with, which are Oils and Acrylics. My artworks include landscapes, cityscapes, rainworks, still life and nature works. I have received great appreciation on my work from my family, friends and now from a little art community that I have on Instagram. I'm a self-taught artist as I have never attended any art school. My ability to create beautiful art is something I consider as a God-Gifted talent and I am forever grateful for it. I hope looking at my paintings bring a sense of joy to your soul.
