About The Artwork
I live on an island and see the ocean every day. I don't notice it. For me, it's just a flat horizon. It doesn't make any sense. It only makes sense when I see a ship floating in the ocean. Then I look at it for a long time and make up a story for it, where it swims and why. This collection is dedicated to ships. The technique I use reflects my inner world. Sharp brush movements, rapid brush strokes, the desire to Express their feelings on the canvas as quickly as possible. Look at these painting and feel what I feel. Volha Belevets is a professional contemporary artist from Belarus currently based in the Canary Islands. Volha was born in Minsk, Belarus. After she got an architectural university degree she has been working as an architect and designer for many years. In 2016, Volha moved to the island of Tenerife and completely devoted herself to painting. Volha regularly participates in international competitions and projects.
