Art Description

Painting: Oil, Acrylic on Canvas, Wood.

From the Artists series Spatial history, a continuation of the series River meets sea and inspired by childhood memories of fishing for mackerel with her father, whilst considering where "exactly" the river meets the sea and exploring the fine line between pure abstraction , figurative recognition and chance and control in the process of painting.
Spatial history, is a series of the Artists autobiographical landscapes which hold her emotional connection to significant place identity. Familiar loved places, people, events and the passage of time, leaving an atmosphere of nostalgia and saudade.

Signed on the canvas side and ready to hang.
