My artwork is contemporary semi-abstract and often incorporate (if not inspired by) landscape, nature and flowers. My floral paintings often include poppies, sunflowers and roses - which have become the main focus of my creativity. I have always had a love of flowers, especially those growing wild and free on our beautiful Irish landscape - and to capture that spirit and beauty in a painting is what I strive and hopefully do achieve. I hope you agree. I love to experiment with different textural techniques within my work to add depth and interest - and I use these techniques in most of my floral and landscapes pieces. All my artwork is original and I use the finest quality oil paint and good quality canvases.
